Venture Series 1104 Standard Floor Raft (11’4″)

Designed for commercial rental use, our livery rafts boast the same great features as our self-bailing inflatable rafts, but have durable standard floors instead of inflated self-bailing floors.

RECENT UPGRADES:
We recently upgraded our standard floor rafts by permanently attaching the thwarts with adhesive. Changing the valves’ location to the bow and stern, we lightened the tube fabric so the rafts are now lighter than ever. We eliminated side handles, and raised the floor by 3.9 inches.

BASE FABRIC:
Vanguard rafts use a strong polyester base fabric in all our boats. The fabric doesn’t stretch when inflated and provides a rigid tube for decreased drag. The 3600 denier floor fabric is some of the thickest in the industry and the floor is also double wrapped halfway up the sides of the tubes.

FABRIC COATING:
Our boat fabric is then coated in PVC to provide a perfect combination of lasting durability, and abrasion resistance. The PVC coating also adds another layer of improvement on the boat’s performance and helps decrease the drag and improve the rigidity of the boat.

SEAMS:
Finally, our boats are glued to provide a superior chemical bond. Glued seams on a PVC boat are fundamentally different than glued seams on a hypalon boat. A glued seams maintains the integrity of the fabric and makes repairs simple.
